EXPERTS ON THE CAUSES OF THE TRAGEDY

Andrey Lamanov, hero of Russia, the pilot who saved that -154 during an emergency landing inclosed airport:

We will find out the causes of the tragedy after the means of objective flight control, recorders, are found. The trouble happened within five to seven minutes after takeoff ()

Andrey Krasnoperov,Major of the Russian Air Force, pilot-instructor, master of sports in aerobatics on jet aircraft:

Looks like a sinking flight over Sinai. Normal takeoff, then loss of communication. 20 minutes after takeoff. In Egypt, debris was collected at 20–30 kilometers ()

Vladimir Popov, Major General, Honored Military Pilot of the Russian Federation:

A plane just can't go off the radar. Even in the event of an accident, it does not immediately fall to the ground: usually they manage to give a signal from the aircraft, receive any instructions from the dispatcher. In this case, we are talking about such an emergency situation, due to which it was physically impossible to contact the ground on board the aircraft. This may be a failure of equipment or a missile launch on it.
