For some, the convenience of clothing is more important, for others it is the coincidence of its boundaries with the dress code, while others will want to express their individuality as much as possible.

A significant part of girls dream of being beautiful rather than stylish, but these concepts are very close to each other. It is important to remember that it is worth moving in one direction, without being scattered on all the new products, because it is not far from absurd images.

  • . Both a classic blue shade and a slightly darker one are suitable. Avoid abrasions, appliqués, stripes and other additional elements, because they change with the flow of fashion.

  • Knitten things. Any knit, be it thick, openwork or thin, is popular in all seasons, but thick things are difficult to wear in the hot season without causing surprise to others.

Secrets of a stylish summer look

In summer, as a rule, there is minimalism in clothing and, on the contrary, the maximum possible accessories.

The minimal base includes plain and colorful dresses, chiffon and knitted jumpsuits, as well as the constant summer classic -. Of course, you can buy 10 dresses with different prints, a lot of T-shirts with intricate patches, but not every girl can afford such an expense.

Summer is the time for accessories, with which, having only a jumpsuit and a couple of T-shirts in stock, you can create different looks for any occasion. How to dress stylishly in the summer and what additional details to include, we will consider below.

This season has been a revelation in the successful combinations of several materials into one product, for example, leather and metal, plastic and wicker elements.

  • Bracelets. Thin or wide, plastic or knitted, transparent, pastel or bright green - only your imagination can limit your variety.
  • Rings. So small, but such an irreplaceable accessory. Massive rings with bright stones are especially stunning in the summer sun.

Dress elegantly and stylishly plump woman A number of tips and your own sense of taste and proportion will help. Any body type deserves to be recognized as the best of the best. Let's look at how to move in the right direction below.

The first rule is correct posture. This makes you look slimmer and more confident and even more majestic.

  • Among all the tights, look for options with inserts that have a tightening effect.

  • Strong contrast between combined colors, as well as a series of light shades, are not recommended. The dark spectrum can slim and even out the silhouette.
  • There is no need for long models; among vests and cardigans, buy models that reach mid-thigh, no more.

The post was posted at the request of LiteOut, all thanks and hot tears of gratitude are only to her))

Popular blogger Arina Kholina believes that clothes from famous brands are unreasonably expensive, but are not of high quality and beautiful. And he tells you where to find stylish and inexpensive things.

Oh my God, how I want Vetements jeans! They cost a damn thousand euros, and that's a hell of a lot, and it's just unrealistically a lot for me. But, you see, when I put them on, they, of course, will be no different from the same jeans from any flea market for ten. But I will know, and everyone will know, that I am not wearing ordinary pants, to which mortals who wear Zara are doomed, but in pants that elevate me above Moscow City. Pants that make me a man in thousand-euro pants, and that shine like a halo only on my butt when I walk the streets!

You will say that even if I make six hundred circles around the center, only about twenty people will recognize this flaw as the product of the most sensational brand of the 2015/2016 season? And only ten of them will know how much they cost? Yes, but it's worth it.

Expensive clothes are a consumer deception

I am sure that everyone who buys clothes that cost... now I’ll say for sure... 12 times more expensive than their normal cost thinks so.

A friend bought a Dior dress (170 thousand rubles). Cute dress. But I see that the fabric is inexpensive, the cut is, of course, decent (who has a bad cut these days?), and the style is quite ordinary. And she herself tells me: “If you want the same fabric, I’ll tell you where to get it. It will cost, well, seven thousand. And sewing about five thousand.”

Of course, I really wanted to ask: “Well, why the hell did you pay 170 thousand for it?!” But, you know, that would be a reproach. Because both I and she - we both know that she paid for this exalting feeling of happiness that superiority over other people gives you, belonging to something elite, although no one knows what exactly, but that’s the trick. For an injection of luxury, which is not really luxury, but we take the marketers at their word.

Modern high fashion is just marketing. Are all the critics excited about Vetements? Do they praise this style of the post-Soviet 90s, this aesthetics of the outskirts and our funny memories of clothing markets? Right away, without any preludes - we charge prices, like Yohji Yamamoto. T-shirt with the DHL logo (German express delivery service) - 250 euros. Windbreaker - 3000 euros. Jeans - 1000.

Old names bought up by large corporations, apart from history and reputation, have nothing to do with high fashion: mass-produced fabrics, sewing in China (or in Italy in factories bought by the Chinese) - this means the Made in Italy so desired by many, separate collections for outlets. It's Zara, but for the rich.

Of course, there are fashion houses that make quality things: at least Hermes, or some not so well-known but very cool brands, but they are in the minority. Rich people with “old money” don’t buy such things. They either sew to order, or from time to time buy clothes in very small boutiques, which, however, sew and knit clothes by hand, produce small editions, and, surprise, it is often cheaper than the same very popular Vetements (or Dior, or Chanel, Lanvin and so on).

Inexpensive clothing - affordable, high quality and stylish

But no matter what the situation is in the world of aristocrats and millionaires, we mortals in Uniqlo pants are left with the blessed mass market.

Russia is not yet a very buyer-friendly environment. On the one hand, a lot of things have appeared, and now, in 2016, the choice here is no worse than in Europe. Back in 2014, I didn’t understand at all where in Moscow people buy clothes - everything seemed too expensive, boring and even embarrassing in places. But now, however, everything has changed.

Although we don’t have wonderful high street fashion - that is, fashion “from the main streets”. From places like Friedrichstrasse in Berlin, Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona and others.

In Moscow, the main places for shopping are malls. And this is bad, first of all, because it is much more pleasant to walk along the streets of the city, stop in a cafe, take a break for wine in bars. Everything in the malls is too utilitarian; mainly chain brands are represented.

Therefore, personally, my Moscow shopping experience is, although a pleasant, but complex story. But if you want to dress especially and stylishly, you can push yourself a little, just a little.

How and where to dress stylishly and inexpensively

Russian stamps

Everyone talks only about Russian designers, and rightly so. Now they make very interesting things, high-quality, beautiful. There is one “but” - they should not be bought in stores. In the store the price triples or more.

You need to find the brand on the Internet, come to his workshop or showroom. It's both nice and much cheaper. The designer will tell you when there will be a sale - and during this period you can pick up clothes that are 30% or 50% cheaper.

Vintage shops

Hurray, there are a lot of them now. And it became much cheaper there. Yes, for some reason many people disdain the clothes that someone wore. I can say one thing - you need to work on yourself. Vintage, which can be safely called second-hand, is a style. Which is now copied by all high fashion houses - from Yves Saint Laurent to Marc Jacobs. I personally even had a fit of rage when I saw the latest Laurent collection from Hedi Slimane - it was my entire closet with crazy dresses from the 80s.

I was angry because my dresses cost from 20 to 40 euros, and Slimane's dresses - well... it's bitter to say about it. All of these dresses are dry cleaned so rigorously that you could wear them into the operating room. Well, if you look from a different angle, it’s even interesting to imagine what kind of woman or women wore them, for what occasion they bought them, and maybe it was a dress for a special date, or it was bought on a trip somewhere in Madrid.. Romance, in general.

I love the cute place “Cooperative Shine” on Kitay-Gorod - there are very nice girls there who also sell jewelry from Russian jewelers. On the same floor there is another vintage store, not bad, but the prices are a little higher, and the girls there are kind of arrogant. Which, however, does not make the choice worse. They are very easy to Google under the “vintage shops” tag - and then it’s a question of price, location and personal choice. I can recommend Vintage Bags for a stunning, almost museum-quality product.

Shops hidden in unusual places

At the Flacon art factory, on Artplay. You can find a lot of interesting things there - from a wonderful selection of Fjallraven Kanken backpacks to not very expensive Danish designers.

That is, rather not an atelier - but private dressmakers. There are, you know, those vile ones who look you in the eye, like Jehovah's Witnesses, and assure you that you have to pay one and a half thousand rubles for hemming your dress. Squeal and run away! Look for normal dressmakers whose tailoring will cost no more than 5 thousand (at old prices from 2500 to 3500, but the world is changing rapidly).

A dress will cost about six thousand on average - and this will be your ideal model for your figure. It's not at all as difficult as it seems.

Hand made wardrobe is very cool. One millionaire friend accidentally ended up in Berlin with a tailor - and now he no longer pleases expensive stores with his by bank card. Things “made to measure” are captivating and addictive. The relationship with clothes is completely different.

Flea markets

Now there are a lot of them. The most excellent one is the one in the Museum of Moscow (you need to look at the schedule on the museum’s website). Everything is there at once. There are not very many clothes, but then you need to ask those who sell them where the main base is.

The life hack is not to believe everyone. A certain impudent person at a flea market in Sokolniki (who also reluctantly broke away from a conversation with her friend for my sake) said that earrings made of “real plastic from the 60s” cost 1,500 rubles.

Flea market at the Museum of Moscow

Just in case - yes, it's true, plastic used to be better. Vintage Ray-Ban glasses and others are very much appreciated - they do not dry out or turn white. But the fact is that a centimeter of plastic in each ear costs about 5 euros. That even at the modern exchange rate is, well, three hundred rubles. In general, if you don’t like the price, leave immediately.

And of course, the famous Moscow Lambada Market

It turned out that only we have such a phenomenon. This did not catch on either in St. Petersburg or in other cities - although there were attempts. But our Lambada is happiness. And Russian designers, and vintage ruins, and some charms and cool things brought from Europe, and all sorts of niche perfumes, soaps, cups... A lot of jewelry - both vintage and modern.

Life hack - come (or return) on the last day around seven in the evening: before closing, people get excited and give it away with significant discounts.

Lambada-Market

What to say? Gods. I'm really looking forward to the amazing collection from Christophe Lemaire that's coming out soon.

Recently, the profession of a stylist has become popular and in demand. And for good reason! After all, not everyone knows what style is. Knowing how to buy things wisely, dress impressively and no less profitably is an entire art. Many people like to make unthought-out purchases, spontaneously, succumbing to momentary desires, and in real life, so never wear them. Let’s try to figure out which style to choose, what’s right for you, and how to become a competent stylist for yourself.

Before you go shopping, think about your lifestyle and what you wear most. For example, if eighty percent of your time is spent working in the office and traveling to it, then your wardrobe needs to be compiled based on this. Spend your budget wisely; it would not be logical to buy blouses, so to speak, for yourself. So, after all, clothing style is a certain emphasis in appearance, it is an individual element of a person’s image. Its composition can be influenced by age, gender, lifestyle and, of course, personal preferences. Here it is not necessary to give preference exclusively to expensive brands; fashionable does not mean expensive. If you don’t have a sense of style, you can look ridiculous in expensive clothes without knowing some of the nuances. Just don’t make a whole cult out of style and fashion. Appearance is a very important part of our life, but we don’t need to limit ourselves to just that.

So, we have already determined that clothes need to be selected according to the place where you are going. When choosing what to wear, use logic, for example, no matter how much you want to emphasize your individuality, it is more appropriate to wear a formal suit to a business meeting than bright sneakers and a T-shirt. It’s not for nothing that they say that you meet people by their clothes, appearance may affect the outcome of this meeting.

If shoes with small heels look good with short trousers, jeans, or wide-cut trousers, then pencil skirts, narrow, require high heels. Accessories can both improve your image and highlight flaws. When wearing blues with a neckline, you can add a silk scarf to match the shoes, or wear beads with a bracelet. Remember, an excessive number of accessories makes your look heavier. If you are in doubt about whether to wear them, it is better to refuse them altogether. Many additions to clothing have not been in fashion for many years, only colors and materials change, usually scarves and belts. With the help of one such little thing, you can make your look appropriate for the season, fashionable.

Every representative of the gentle sex has a sense of style; you just need to compare your desires and some rules of wardrobe etiquette. You need to soberly assess your appearance and know your body type; this will help you not only dress wisely, but also avoid unnecessary things and expenses. Love yourself and your appearance, because style is not only a well-combined outer shell, but also harmony with yourself. Please take note of the recommendations mentioned above. Give yourself a simple walk without shopping at least once a week. Look at new arrivals, how the mannequins are dressed, read the names of the items on the price tags. Also, visit websites of fashion stores, this will expand your knowledge in the field of fashion. Stylists advise that your wardrobe should include so-called basic things.

  1. A classic suit made of high-quality fabric, it goes well with many things and will last a long time, and is suitable for many events.
  2. White blouse from natural fabric. Well, everything is clear here, beautiful, stylish, neat.
  3. Any stylish girl You just have to have high-heeled shoes made of high-quality material. They immediately create an impression of a person, which one only you can determine. In the summer version, shoes with an open toe or heel. Don't forget about well-groomed feet and pedicures.
  4. Next after choosing shoes comes a handbag. This accessory is equal to the clothing itself and things must be combined in texture and color.
  5. Your wardrobe should also include classic dark, good quality, jeans. They can be worn with different things and shoes, the main thing is to choose them according to your figure.

Don't buy too many things at once, don't become a shopaholic, this is a real disease.

Look for your things, and don’t follow a plan to waste your money.

It is recommended to audit your wardrobe periodically. Give things you don’t need to someone or throw them away mercilessly, the main thing is don’t accumulate trash. Always remember to feel your style, learn to be friends with your inner world, listen to your inner voice. Internal harmony will brighten and manifest itself externally.

Everyone has an idea of what it means to be fashionable since childhood. We need to keep an eye on fashion trends using the Internet and television. Taking into account the information received, you need to choose clothes for yourself. As for style, few can explain what this concept means. This is what we will talk about in this article. How to dress stylishly for a girl: tips and photos.

What is style?

If fashion can simply be followed blindly, adopting and repeating the dressing style of various authorities in this matter, then you must choose the style yourself. Fashion is secondary to style. First, you should decide on your own style, and then adjust your appearance, taking into account fashion trends.

In order to create your own special style, you need to study yourself well. You should honestly admit the advantages and disadvantages of your external data. Understand what character traits, behavior and upbringing distinguish you from others.

We must be aware that origin, nationality, and religious affiliation can be reflected in the style of clothing. The main thing is that you want to tell others about yourself by choosing a suit, since style is the embodiment of all of the above in clothing.

We must understand that individual style consists not only of a certain manner of dressing. The choice of outfit should correspond to the behavior, upbringing and way of communication of the person. Naturally, makeup and hairstyle should match the suit. The appropriateness of clothing for a specific place and time is also an important point.

How to become stylish?

In order to create a stylish look, you must adhere to the general recommendations listed below.

  • Be sure to maintain proportions in the outfit.
  • Pay attention to ensure that the details of the image fit well with each other.

  • The outfit must be appropriate for the chosen place at the given time.
  • In everything we must observe moderation.
  • The internal state of a person must correspond to the invented image.

Features of the figure and suitable clothing

In order to dress stylishly, first of all, you should study your figure well. Even the most beautiful bodies have flaws. You need to have the character to face the truth and highlight the disadvantages of your figure. Then it will be possible to select clothes in such a way that they disguise them.

To determine the strengths and weaknesses of your figure, you need to carefully examine yourself in a large mirror. Now you can remember those body features that should be emphasized and those features that you should try not to show.

When choosing clothes, you should always pay attention to how they fit. Clothing must be purchased by size. A size that is too small will emphasize fullness and create unsightly folds, while a size that is too large will turn your figure into a shapeless bag. A loose fit involves focusing on certain areas of the body (for example, the waist) to straighten the silhouette.

Clothes color

The colors of clothing are selected to match the shade of the eyes, skin, and hair. It's worth taking the time to figure out the shades that suit you perfectly.

Sometimes a girl is sure that a certain color does not suit her at all, but suddenly some shade of it will fit very well into the outfit. Here you need to be open to experiments. However, if you find out your colors, this will greatly help in developing an individual clothing style.

Using more than three colors in a look can make it look tacky. The colors of hair, eyes, clothes, shoes and accessories should be combined.

Stylish look

Choosing a stylish set of clothes is half the battle. There are other important details of the image that can make it stylish or spoil the impression.

  • Neat and well-groomed appearance. Even the most expensive clothes will not make a girl stylish if she looks sloppy. Fashionable carelessness in hairstyle and clothing should be very thoughtful.

  • Clothing must be appropriate for the location. Evening attire should not be worn for a daytime walk in the park, but sporty look not suitable for office work. There are differences that are obvious to everyone, and there are those that should be studied in more detail by looking through the sources.
  • Shoes should perfectly match the outfit. It must always be kept in order. The height of the heels must be chosen taking into account your ability to stand on them. If a woman can’t walk in high heels, then wearing stilettos will make her look not stylish, but pathetic. Sometimes it's better to wear low-heeled shoes or ballet flats and still feel confident.

  • Underwear should also match the look. This is important in order to really get into the right mood. In addition, underwear is often visible through the outfit.

  • You need to be careful when selecting accessories and jewelry. Here you should adhere to moderation.
  • Hair, makeup and manicure have great importance to create a stylish look. They should be harmoniously combined with the outfit.
  • A stylish image is impossible without the ability to behave.

Creating your own style is not easy, but it is possible. A stylish look will help you achieve your desired goals. In addition, in the process of creating such an image, you can get to know yourself better.

Video on the topic of the article:

Who among us is not filled with awe from what we see at the shows of the new season? The desire to have everything at once awakens, and the list of must-haves is replenished with an incredible ultramarine dress and a stylish coat from Karl Lagerfeld, who creates for Chanel, and a pair of shoes from the new Corso Como collection. But common sense immediately insists that finances are hardly enough even for a designer button. Most Russian women are familiar with these thoughts, but there is a way out. Notes of a layman I have prepared a short guide on the topic: “how to dress fashionably and inexpensively.”

The tendency to “mix” branded items, the cost of which is often no less than the cost of a one-room apartment or car, with mass marketing or vintage clothing in one image was relevant back in the last century, and remains so today. The first and brightest lover of eclectic style, which freely combines Haute Couture and flea market finds, is Iris Apfel. The head of a textile company and a complete style icon began her bold experiments in the distant post-war years, which frankly shocked the public.

Another well-known admirer of this style trend is top model Kate Moss, who takes such liberties as TopShop dresses and iconic Chanel bags “in one glass.” In 2006, Kate created her own clothing line under the offer of her favorite English mass marketing brand. Everyone was pleased with the result, especially the customers.

But high fashion is the field of action of the elite, who are accustomed to demonstrating their high status with the help of branded items and expensive accessories. And not every one of them masters the art of dressing strong and inexpensive. An example of sophisticated and at the same time budget style was Michelle Obama, who appeared in the Today Show studio in an elegant H&M dress that cost only $35. If the First Lady of the United States does not disdain such experiments, why are we worse?

But, despite significant examples, not each of us will be able to highlight enough a large sum to purchase at least one “glossy dream”. However, this will not affect you too much and darken you if you follow ten simple tips...

1. Get the accent right

If there is no opportunity, then there is no point in making up a wardrobe only from expensive things and using the last of your strength to buy T-shirts, jeans, coats from famous brands. Believe me, your look can be made stylish and expensive with just one correctly placed accent in the form of a designer accessory. Therefore, even in saving mode, find the opportunity to save for expensive shoes, a scarf, a bag, a belt or glasses.

2. Choose natural

Often, in order to save money, budget manufacturers use low-quality material, which negates the efforts you have made and will spoil fashionable image. When choosing an item, be sure to pay attention to the fabric: if it consists of more than 20 percent synthetics, it is better to refuse. Clothes made from natural fabrics: wool, cotton, silk - look expensive, stylish and, importantly, last much longer.

3. Spend wisely

In order to dress stylishly and inexpensively, you don’t need to buy several pretentious things every season, which, after a couple of months, will go out of fashion and become inappropriate. Try to compose your wardrobe from universal clothes that are relevant to any new trends. For example, if you have a choice between a Turkish cucumber skirt and a classic - a plain (preferably black) pencil skirt, give preference to the second option. And there is no doubt that if in your arsenal there is a white blouse, a sheath dress, pipe trousers, a coat or raincoat of a classic cut and an irreplaceable little black dress, no one can call you lacking in taste.

4. Be careful with combinations

You have the opportunity to purchase a very inexpensive replica of a popular brand, such as Giles glasses or a Hermes bag. Amazing! But be extremely careful in choosing what exactly you wear them with. If you combine a fake item with a real brand name, the fake will immediately become obvious, and the real brand will be perceived as fake, which is very annoying.

5. Costume jewelry is more profitable than fakes

Agree, the “fake” four-leaf clover from the legendary French jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels with peeled gold looks much worse than honest Accessories jewelry or, if finances allow, for example, Lanvin.

6. To dress fashionably and inexpensively, look into vintage shops or second-hand stores

Don't miss this opportunity, especially if you are on vacation or a business trip abroad. In this case, you may have a wonderful opportunity to purchase a stylish Burberyy trench coat for just 100 euros. In addition, shopping in such small and little-known stores increases your chances of being, so to speak, one of a kind.

7. Don't be afraid of sales

Many are embarrassed to storm fashion boutiques and stock stores of famous brands. And completely in vain. The end of each season or the New Year holidays always allow you to dress stylishly and inexpensively, if, of course, you hurry and have time to “grab” the item you like. After all, when the coveted shoes or leather top are 70% cheaper than the original price, it is simply impossible to resist the temptation. But, again, choose things that are unpretentious, timeless and trendy, so to speak, and avoid flashy and large logos.

8. Fashion and budget collaborations

One of the most potential opportunities to look fashionable and at the same time spend small amounts is capsule collections of mass market brands, created in tandem with famous designers and bohemian stars. The trend for affordable designer pieces is growing at an incredible rate. Take, for example, the aforementioned Swedish brand H&M, which has released collections with the participation of Lanvin, Versace, Madonna and Sonia Rykiel, and this spring the Italian brand Marni will join the list. Mary Katranzou, Kate Moss, Marc Fast and Michael van der Ham worked for TopShop.

9. Custom tailoring

What is not the answer to the question: “how to dress stylishly and inexpensively?” The main thing is to find good specialist, which can bring into reality what you saw on the cover or in the window. The pleasure of tailoring is not cheap, but the amount will still be at least five times lower than the price tag in a boutique. In any case, those who know a true sense of style and fashion dare to sew things to order.
