Items

The game uses a large number of various items. Non-throwing weapons and armor cannot be purchased; they can only be improved over time. The main way to improve weapons is to make additional sockets for inlaying stones. You can store quite a lot of things in the belt and magic bag, using them using the given keys (up to nine items of the same type can be placed in one cell).

Elixirs and amulets

Elixirs of health, stamina and renewal. There are four types: small, medium, large and huge. Each of the elixirs restores a character to a different amount of vitality, chi, or both (the latter is the elixir of renewal).

Resurrection Pill. Restores all attributes to their maximum value. To obtain a pill, place amethyst, jadeite, amber, kyanite, danburite and chalcedony into an alchemical cube. Taking more than one pill at a time will not provide additional results.

Battle pill. The person who takes it increases his strength forever, but the process of creating such a pill is not easy. Place three perfect jadeites in the alchemical cube - if you are lucky, you will receive a combat pill. The likelihood of creating a pill is low, so it's better to save the stones for inlaying. Can be taken several times, but there is a maximum strength value, after which the effect stops.

A comeback gem. Opens a gate that will send you to the beginning of your journey.

Guiding Pei. In case of death, he will open a portal to the place of your death. To use the Guiding Pei, place it in a magic bag - it will automatically activate when the owner dies (the gate will not close until a living creature passes through it). Very useful in hard-to-reach places, when it is difficult to “clear” the entire area at first.

Von Zon. The famous general of the Chin Dynasty once made a jade amulet with his image on it. After some time, supernatural powers took over the amulet. Won Zon can create the illusion of the owner for a while. They say that such an amulet is included in the standard equipment of the thieving warriors of the Shadowless Warriors clan. To use the Won Zon, throw it like a normal thrown weapon, but remember that the maximum number of charges in each Won Zon is nine. When the amulet runs out of charge, it crumbles. Useful for distracting enemies, although they will often only attack your double when you are down or at a significant distance.

Scrolls

The highest quality jadeites, known as “crystal jadeites”, are recognized by their translucency and lack of flaws; they are also called “ice”. Elixirs can be obtained from ideal jadeite. True, the chances of this are small - it’s easier to buy and not spoil good stones.

Amethyst indispensable for wizards. It is considered the best of the stones that protect against demonic influence. Inlaid into armor, increases the wearer's stamina.

Chalcedony contains life energy. Inlaid into armor, it adds a certain amount of vitality to the owner. To obtain this, mix amber and jadeite in a cube.

Danburite contains the energy of the sun. Equip one of these into your armor and it will increase your attack speed. Danburite can be obtained by mixing amethyst and jadeite.

Chapter first. World of People

You start the game in the small village of Va-Dent. Chat with Kon Shu Ben. If you try to go outside the gate, they won't let you in. This is a hint that not all business in the village is finished. Approach the Guo supplier. He will tell you that the village needs supplies, and it’s scary to go beyond the walls. Guo will also tell you that healer Chen went to collect herbs and will ask you to find her.

Go through the gate along the Sunset Path (actually, there is only one road there). Most quick way movement, initially available - jumping. Along the way you will meet several corpses. First time out of the gate.

Return to the village. Talk to Shen again. As a token of gratitude, he will first give the heroine an alchemical cube... Then he will think and say that it is difficult to carry, and he will keep the cube. You can use the cube at any time, in addition, you can leave things and money with Shen.

Talk to Kon Shu Ben. He will tell you that your weapon is too weak and will send you to the blacksmith Ou, who knows how to improve it. Simply put, Ou can inlay into weapons and armor various stones. What is noteworthy is that you cannot insert two stones of the same type, but you can remove one and insert another.

Your main opponent will be the leader of the robbers. Unlike ordinary ones, he is several times healthier and more dangerous (he fights skillfully). After his death you will find meteorite iron. Now you can return to the village to the blacksmith. Ou will tell you that you are a skilled warrior, and thanks to your discovery, he will be able to make an excellent weapon. In gratitude for the iron you brought, the blacksmith improves your blade - he reforges it so that another socket for the stone appears in it. Return to Ge Manor and find the bridge. A bear is waiting behind the bridge; Ge already warned you about it. Like all the main opponents, he is very strong, and the Seam of the Sky has very little effect on him. After defeating the bear, talk to Taoist Ge again. He will thank you and tell you that the alchemy cube is actually a Tai Tzu furnace, and then disappears. Where do you think he went? After this, your path lies to the Stone Gate Temple. On the Battlefield you will meet Drai-wu, Kon Shu Ben's teacher.

Drive-woo will give you the task of finding the belt in his house without killing anyone. Go east to the nearest passage. You will be taken to the Battle Arch. The place you need is right in the center - something that most closely resembles an upright coffin. A few words about the area - only hellish dogs are found there, one of them is the leader dog. Be careful when approaching the desired location. By that time, the heroine is already being pursued by enough hellhounds to surround her in a dense ring, so when you break the “coffin”, and even more so when you try to pick up the belt that fell out of it, there is a very high chance that you will hit someone instead. then from the dogs. In this case, the task is considered failed, and Drai-woo invites you to start all over again, moving the belt back with the power of thought (and restoring the broken container).

But you've done it. Drive-woo will tell you that dark forces are, of course, to blame for all the outrages. He is waiting for a hero - and you suit him. But in addition to weapons, you also need to master the Seven Virtues. If you possess them, then the demons will not be able to harm you. Drai-wu will give you a buckle - you will need to show it to Mrs. Huan if you come across one in your further travels. After this conversation with Drai-woo, you will gain Mercy.

Go north to Phoenix Creek. Along the way you will come across a fork - two dilapidated bridges. The paths are equivalent and both will lead you to the island with the orangutan. After killing this monkey or leaving it alive (which, in general, is unimportant), jump over to the next island. There you will meet the Red Shadow again.

She offers to cross the river together. But, since the bridge is destroyed, a carpenter is needed. Return to the village to Kon Shu Ben. He will tell you that the bridge could not withstand the flood, and wood is needed for repairs, that is, making supports.

Return to the island to the Red Shadow and jump over to the neighboring one (a little lower and to the left), there is a royal boar guarding a tree. First, kill the boar so as not to interfere, then hit the tree several times. Oddly enough, it does not resist.

After passing through the Warriors' Gate, you will meet an unknown elderly man. He looks old and frail, but very soon you will have doubts about this.

As it turns out much later, this is the magician Wen, the court magician of Emperor Zhuo. He will not want to let you pass, and, taking the form of a war elephant, he will try to kill you. Despite its size, the elephant is fast and, oddly enough, knows kung fu. So, he jumps into a standing position without any problems.

After the heroic victory over the elephant, move on - Tao will meet on your way again. Now you will need to destroy the Stele of Submission - a small stone structure next to the Taoist. Tao will tell you that the one you saw is perhaps the culprit of what is happening, and you will most likely have to face him again (his spirit fled to the north). Once again, Tao reminds us of the Virtues and gives advice to go to the village in order to prepare for the journey to the north. Here, not far from you, all the villagers appear with a clear desire to communicate. Guo says you can meet his uncle and asks him to say hi to him. Ou talks about how you can meet other blacksmiths. Kon Shu Ben will not say much, he will give a weapon - a ring. After that, everyone will give you something to the best of their ability - verbally or with some useful object. In the same tomb you will find the Sword of Fish Entrails (in the coffin, as befits the greatest value of any grave). Return to the village and talk to Gan Yan - he will improve your weapon and thank you for returning your wife (he will give you a processed amethyst).

Go back to Wuzyuan Ziu - his dream has come true, and you have found Faith. It would be better if you had Patience, you will really need it now...

Now - to the southwest, to the Forest of the Winds. Get ready to talk a lot and run even more. There, near the crypt, you will meet the restless soul of Chan Zong Jian.

The ghost will talk about his unhappy love for the beautiful Hong Fu, and his passionate desire to see her again. Follow the road to the Raspberry House - in this rather large mansion you will find Hong Fu. She also suffers and is looking for her husband, Li Zin. And since Hong Fu is already dead and is not able to find him herself, she asks you to find him and deliver the letter. Run between them - work as a messenger. To see her husband, Hong Fu needs something to move in (some of her personal belongings), but she no longer has such things. There are two exits from the Raspberry House - along the road to the west (but they are not allowed there yet - you have not yet fulfilled your promise) and to the southeast, where you need to go.

Walking this road, you will find yourself in the Tribe of Victory - where you will find Li Zin (also a spirit). He really wants to meet his wife and rejoices at the good news - you brought a letter from Hong Fu and saw Chan Zong Jian, his brother-in-law. After the conversation, Li Zin will give you a key - unfortunately, the lock is unknown to him. Return to Chan Zong Jian and tell him about your previous meetings. He will remember that Hong Fu left him a locked chest - your key matches it. Inside lies the Hong Fu comb - now you can return to the Raspberry House - she will move into the ridge. After this, take the “parcel” to Li Zin - the couple will be delighted to meet you. They will remind you that the greatness of the Seven Virtues supports you on the difficult path of the hero. After this, Hong Fu and Li Zin will ask you to take them to Chan Zong Jian - fulfill their request. In gratitude, the spirits will give you Sparkling Armor, and in addition, you will find Love.

From there, take the previously closed exit leading to the Forest of Steles. Here you will meet Chen Bin - he is imprisoned in a stele. Chen Bing asks you to kill the Hawk King. The main problem in fighting him is that he flies, meaning he is inaccessible to most attacks. Wait for the king to swoop down on you, jump away, and then jump back, and before he takes off again, greet him with a series of blows. If you don't want to wait, try to shoot him down using seam of the sky. Both options are equally dangerous. As experience shows, if you cannot kill an enemy right away, die five or six times, after which eliminating a previously very strong enemy becomes (for unknown in-game reasons) a very easy matter. The only exception is the last enemy of the game.

After the death of the “bird”, Chin Bin asks you to break the red stele in which he is located. After his release, Chin calls you sister and tells you that his father died before he was born - killed by Emperor Chu. Then the guy asks to be taken to his mother - Mok Ye. Return to the village and talk to Ge. He will tell you that Gan Yan and Mok Ye are aliens from another time, and will also tell the story of Chin Bin, the legend of the three heads in the mausoleum of the Three Emperors, and that all this is somehow connected with Hong Fu. He will also say that you need to find Gan Yan's sword.

Go to the Hill of Peace, where you will meet Pu Yuan. This resident of the World of Animals will tell you that you had to meet monsters (otherwise you don’t know!) - and he knows who stood in your way. Pu asks you to return to him the moment you see the power of your weapon. You will have to return to the village to talk with Wongbo Guo. He will tell you that there is a trap in the mausoleum: there are four columns there, and they must be activated in a certain order. Sequence: east - south - north - west. By activating them correctly, you will find out whether the item you need is in the mausoleum. A mistake will be costly: when each column is activated, a corpse general appears - and each incorrectly activated column will cause more and more enemies to appear. Return to the Hill of Peace and find the entrance to the ice cave, which doubles as the Mausoleum of the Three Emperors.

As mentioned earlier, when each of the columns is activated, a corpse general appears. If you performed the activation correctly, a shining blade will appear above the central pedestal - the sword you need.

As soon as you take it, a royal corpse appears. Clear the mausoleum of the undead.

Return to the village and talk to Wongbo Guo. He will confirm that the sword found belongs to Gan Yan and will praise your kind heart. Talk to Gan Yan - looking thoughtfully at the sword, he will say that the blade is exactly like Chu's. Going in the indicated direction, you will find yourself in the Valley of the Morning Dawn. There you will meet Chao Nan; he will invite you to confront the demons together, but, unfortunately, your weapon is not yet capable of breaking the ice barriers that prevent him from advancing in the direction he needs.

Go north to the Frostfire Swamp and break the ice. In one of the buckets you will find ice water. Return to Pu Yuan, he will thank you and give you a sword.

The work of water-carriers is hard.

In the village, talk to Gan Yan: you will find out that the gods themselves sent you, and your weapon is perfect. Return to talk to Pu Yuan - he is pleased, and since no one forced you to carry this particular water and risk yourself, then you are truly a loyal person. Go to Chao Nan - it turns out that if you kill all the monsters, he will share the necessary information (he will accompany you for some time). But before his death, the great magician Wen used all his power to kidnap Ruo's soul, full of dying hatred, and send it outside the Human World - to await the day when the emperor could return and seize power.

The incredible power of Zhuo's thoughts, increased by Wen's spells, created a hole in three of the six parallel worlds - people, animals and demons. Due to shifts in space and time, many people from different eras were thrown out of their time, and monsters from parallel worlds began to freely penetrate through this hole. Since it was created by the power of Ruo's thoughts of revenge, which were controlled by Wen, the monsters and demons that entered it easily fell under the magician's power.
