In Red Dead Redemption 2, a torn treasure map gives you the opportunity to get a little rich without unnecessary hassle, although only in the finale storyline. Although collect map pieces It is possible, starting from the second chapter, that Arthur will have access to the cave with the treasure only in the epilogue. True, you won’t find gold there, but you will find good revolver and a selection erotic photos. This Otis Miller was an interesting man, judging by what he so carefully hid from prying eyes. Be that as it may, in RDR 2 a torn treasure map that needs to be collected and restored will be useful to you in any case. In order not to forget, you can start looking for it immediately after completing the first “ introductory” chapters when you get complete freedom of action.

Torn Treasure Map 1

Finding it is not difficult. You can find a piece of paper near the city Valentine, which you will visit almost at the beginning of the game. The first piece of the torn map is kept in the shack of some hermit. It's not hard to find - just go to the head of Little Creek. True, the local resident is not eager to communicate with Arthur, and will unleash on him dogs, which will have to be dealt with. But then, after searching the box inside, you will find the first part of the torn treasure map of Red Dead Redemption 2. It will not indicate the path to the treasure, but it contains information about the location second half this security.

Torn Treasure Map 2

It is kept in the house of another hermit. Don’t you think it’s strange that for some reason it’s these strange people who have abandoned civilization and live in such remote places who collect scraps of old maps? So do we.

In any case, the torn RDR 2 treasure map needs to be collected, which means that Arthur's path lies on northeast of the city of Annesberg. When you arrive, don't forget to borrow some money from the owner of the hut. good shotgun. If you forget about it and come back here later, it will already be gone.

Stitched treasure map

As soon as they are in your hands both pieces, Arthur will glue them together and be able to read the search instructions written in back of the card. To complete the search you will have to go to the south of the map, and there, not very far from Armadillo, you will discover a cave with treasure. Red Dead Redemption 2's torn treasure map doesn't give particularly clear directions on how to find it, but this screenshot shows it all:

As mentioned above, you can visit this location only after completing the sixth chapter of the story. If by this moment you already have in your hands restored map, the search will not last long, but new revolver You will definitely need it again.

In the vastness of the Wild West in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can find as many as 4 sets of treasure maps. Players who pre-ordered were lucky enough to receive one of these sets. new project Rockstar Games, and it is not possible to get it after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the game can be completed 100% without this set, so there are no problems. In this guide, we'll show you where and how to get every card in the three sets.

Jack Hall's Gang Treasure Maps

Jack Hall's Gang Cards are the first set of treasure cards you'll find in the game. Having collected all the cards, you will get a pretty solid jackpot, but it will take a little work. To find the very first card from this set, you need to find a character named Maximo - here is his location on the map:

Maximo is a treasure hunter. You can get the card by paying him ten dollars or simply stealing it from him. In general, get the card you need from this character in any convenient way. Once you have the map at your disposal, take a good look at it: some mountain, trees, roads and houses. It is precisely to the top of this mountain that you need to climb. Here is the required location:

At the top of this small mountain you will see a pitched tent, but what you need is not the tent, but what is nearby. Next to the tent you can find a small descent onto a ledge. Once down on this ledge, walk along it until you see the next card of Jack Hall's gang, which will be knocked out right on the surface of the rock.

Let's move on. Again, get thoroughly familiar with the card you find - this will greatly help you when looking for the next card in the set. So, next you need to head to the Cotorra springs, which are located northwest of Fort Wallace behind the railroad. Here is the desired location on the map:

If you come to the indicated clearing and see three geysers, you have arrived at the right place. Now you need to find a couple of boulders in this clearing, next to which there is a small pile of stones. In the gap at the base of one of the boulders you will find the next clue about where to move next. Fortunately, it is this map that will lead you to the treasure of Jack Hall's gang.

This time you need to head to Lake O'krigb, which is located in eastern Grizzly. You do not need some place near the lake, but a small island, which is located right in the middle of this lake. True, you will have to swim there, but that is already on you.

On this island - at the very edge - you need to find an extremely inconspicuous stone, and under the stone - a couple of gold bars, for which you will receive a thousand dollars from the buyer (500 each).

Poison Trail Treasure Maps

To start searching for the treasures of the poisonous path, you will need to dress quite warmly, because the first map is in an extremely cold place. You need to find a house located near the town of Valentine (the first city in the game), near Lake Cairn. In this house you will find the map you need. The next map will be located north of the city of Rhodes. Here is its location on the map:

You need to find a tree trunk with a hollow. It is a trunk, not a tree: there will be no leaves or branches on it. Inside the hollow will be the next treasure map. To make it easier for you to look for this trunk, first find a withered tree in the shape of a slingshot. The trunk will stick out near this tree.

In this place you will need to find a huge pile of stones that someone laid out in the shape of an eye. Unfortunately, there are simply no obvious landmarks on the ground or on the map, so you will need to run around the previously indicated location and look for your eyes. The map you need will be located right in the center of the stones.

Well, it’s time to go to the place where the treasure of the poisonous path is located. And the place you need is located near the Van Horn trading post, but only this time you will head to the Elysian Pond. The Kamassa River passes through this pond and forms a waterfall in the northern part. Below the waterfall there is a cave that you need to go into.

The most difficult part begins in the cave, because it is extremely dark and there are many different paths in it. Before heading into the cave, we recommend that you take a lamp with you, as without it you are unlikely to find anything there.

Ok, we entered a cave with a lamp - where to go? And you need to go as follows:

  • move forward along the cave and get to the place where it expands; but don't reach the first fork in the cave!
  • then go down the small ledges even lower and move until you reach a small hole in the cave wall;
  • crawl through this hole, after which a small fork will appear in front of you - you go to the right;
  • move along the narrow tunnel until you reach a small cliff;
  • you need to go to the left edge and jump down onto the platform;
  • now move forward along the low but wide tunnel, after which you will slide down and splash into the water;
  • turn the camera to the left and climb up onto the small ledge.

Ready! You have reached the treasure of the poisonous path. Now you should stretch your hand between the huge cobblestones that are located in front of you and take out as many as four gold bars from there. You can sell them to a buyer for $2,000.

This article is in the process of being written. We still have to sort out the third set of treasure maps with you, as well as find the treasure itself. Stay tuned for updates on the website!
