Bashkir Institute physical culture (BIFK, Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (branch) of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Ural State University of Physical Culture") is the largest university in the Republic of Bashkortostan for training specialists in physical education, sports and tourism.

Story

Original name: Ufa educational and consulting center of Chelyabinsk state institute physical culture. On March 6, 2000, by order of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, at the request of the rector of the Ural state academy physical culture by Professor L.M. Kulikov, the Ufa branch of the Ural State Academy of Physical Culture was created. In September 2005, based on the results of successful completion of the certification and accreditation procedure, the Ufa branch of the Ural State Physical Culture and Sports Complex was renamed the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (branch) of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Ural State University of Physical Culture".

Postgraduate studies (in scientific specialty 13.00.04 - Theory and methods of physical education, sports training, health-improving and adaptive physical culture).

The BIFK employs honored workers of physical culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Russian Federation, Honored Trainers of Russia, Masters of Sports of Russia and Masters of Sports of International Class.

Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (branch) of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution higher education"Ural State University of Physical Culture" was opened on March 6, 2000 as a branch on the basis of the Ural State Academy of Physical Culture.

The institute provides educational programs for bachelor's, master's and postgraduate degrees. There is daytime and extramural training. In total, the institute has 9 educational programs. In addition, there are several additional professional programs training.

The Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (branch) of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Ural State University of Physical Culture" consists of 3 buildings. They have well-equipped classrooms for effective teaching. There are several sports and gyms.

From the moment the branch was created to the present time, the director of the institute remains the coach and master of sports, prof. Pavel Sergeevich Gorulev.

The Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture traces its history back to the formation of the Ufa educational and consulting center of the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Physical Culture. On October 10, 1994, it was renamed the Ufa Faculty of Correspondence Education of the Chelyabinsk Institute of Physical Culture.

On March 6, 2000, by order of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, at the request of the rector of the Ural State Academy of Physical Culture, Professor L.M. Kulikov, the Ufa branch of the Ural State Academy of Physical Culture was created. In 2002, on the basis of the Ural State Academy, the Ufa branch of the Institute of Tourism and Social and Cultural Services was opened for full-time and part-time education.

In September 2005, the Ufa branch of the Ural State Physical Culture and Sports Complex was renamed the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (branch) of the Ural state university physical culture. Today it is the largest higher education institution in the Republic, which trains highly qualified specialists in physical culture, sports and tourism. During the existence of the institute, about 1,700 highly qualified specialists were trained. Today, the university has about 850 full-time students and about 1,000 part-time students.

Today, at the departments of the institute, educational, scientific, methodological and sports work About 150 teachers work with undergraduates, graduate students and trainees. The rehabilitation center of the institute specializes in diseases of the musculoskeletal system, is equipped with modern equipment, a hall physical therapy, massage room, sports psychology room, psychorehabilitation and psychocorrection.

There is also a laboratory for functional diagnostics, which allows for studies of the cardiorespiratory, neuromuscular systems, central nervous system, the state of lipid peroxidation at rest and during physical activity. The main scientific areas are elite sports, women's sports and sports for the disabled.
